Epic Grand for the Kurzweil PC3K offers up to four sampled dynamic layers. High quality loops keep samples sizes compact while achieving a generous, natural-sounding sustain. Every note truly sings. Additional independent elements such as damper resonance, release resonance, hammer noise samples, and damper noise samples bring the piano to life. To our knowledge, Epic Grand offers the most complete piano experience available for the PC3K.

Volume 1 is a piano sample library featuring stereo samples of four distinct pianos: a Steinway concert grand, a Baldwin concert grand, a Kawai concert grand, and a mid-size Kawai grand. A variety of solo and layered sounds are provided for each piano. Volume 1 also offers a violin ensemble sample and lush multi-velocity samples of FM electric pianos.

Volume 2 is a piano sample library featuring velocity-switched samples of a beautiful Kawai EX concert grand, carefully programmed and ready to play. Presets are provided to cover a wide variety of applications and styles. Solo pianos vary brightness, timbre, and dynamic response. Layered sounds combine the piano with electric pianos, pads, orchestras, and string sections.

Designed for the Kurzweil K2xxx keyboards, this piano sample library offers abundant real-time control options as well as dozens of possible bank sizes for efficient sample RAM management.

KS B3 for the Kurzweil K2500 and K2600 is a tonewheel organ sound library offering dozens of sounds, most of which use KB3 mode and KDFX. This collection was made to satisfy users’ needs for more realistic rotary speaker effects and more authentic distortion as well as provide convenient non-KDFX alternatives for multitimbral applications.

KS Rotary for the Kurzweil K2xxx series is a tonewheel organ sound library providing high quality rotary speaker effects that do not require an effects processor. This allows the Kurzweil’s effects processors to be used for other functions in multitimbral applications involving tonewheel organ sounds. KS Rotary includes a variety of preset programs and setups covering different drawbar settings. Memory-efficient RAM samples are included.

Kurzweil is proud to announce the release of the new Sound Download Library exclusively for the PC3K line of Synthesizer Workstations. Now available for free download. DLN Sound creates unique, first class sounds for Kurzweil synthesizers, based on scientific research and using cutting edge synthesis techniques. Most of the PC3K:Works sound programs support the Kurzweil PC3K keyboard velocity, press sensitivity and also onboard MIDI controllers. The controller sliders and wheels are used especially for synth basses, ARP/SEQ and Sync programs. Below is the list of the standardized controller setup used for the Kurzweil PC3K sound parameter modulations. Both include Kurzweil's highly regarded Contemporary and Orchestral sound blocks, and both offer the popular Stereo Triple Strike Piano, Classic Keys, and String Sections.
